The Republic of Indonesia is famous for its high number of social networking use of various types. Even a citizen can have multiple accounts in one type of social networks like facebook, twetter, watshapp, instagram, line and others. And, according to data from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (Communications), the majority of social networking users in Indonesia to access their account from a mobile device either a tablet or smartphone.
This was disclosed by the Head of Public Relations Ismail Cawidu Kominfo as quoted by Kompas. He said that social networking users in Indonesia currently reaches 62 million people. And of that number, 52 million of them accessing social networking accounts through mobile devices. And every day, they access social networking accounts through gadgets and smartphones for 3 hours more.Kominfo also reveal other behaviors of Internet users in Indonesia. Ismail said that the majority of mobile phone users in Indonesia has three SIM cards at the same time even more. So, it is not surprising that there is a smartphone with dual SIM card into the device that much sought after in the market today.
In addition, he revealed that the majority of Internet users in Indonesia which reached 73 million people use the time to access the social network using a mobile phone. The number is reached the very highest, which amounted to 64 percent. Meanwhile in the second and third places reached 48 percent are searching for information purposes and to send or receive e-mail only.
